When is Racism not Racism?

When it’s sensationalist idiocy dressed us as “iz it coz i iz black?”

I’m talking about all the “information” in the media, especially the last 12 months, about how every police officer in the world is a racist because some criminals, who happen to be black, have been gunned down apparently whilst “unarmed”.

Who cares if they were unarmed? Who cares if they were black or white? Who care if they were male or female? The facts are that these people, at the time of their shooting, were doing something illegal. The police stepped in to either prevent the illegal activity from continuing or to apprehend the criminal(s) involved. It’s at THIS POINT, where the police become involved, that you, as a criminal, need to decide what to do. Do I run from the American Police who are trained to shoot to kill? Or do I do as I am told and get on the ground/hands up/obey the police?

I’ve created a handy guide to for everyone to follow, whether you’re black, white, hispanic, arabic, male, female, trans, plantkin, foxkin, or whatever, to help you avoid getting shot by police;

Option 1

  1. Do not commit a crime
    • This is pretty obvious. If you’re not being a criminal, you won’t get treated as one. The old line of “he was in the wrong place at the wrong time” gets very old very quickly. So. Don’t be a criminal and don’t associate with criminals

Option 2

If you simply cannot control your urges and you have just committed a crime, here’s a step by step guide on how to not end up dead

  1. You have committed a crime and the police have caught you
  2. The police tell you to “freeze” or “get down on the ground”
  3. You comply
  4. They hand cuff you, put you in the car, and you’re on your way to serving the time you deserve for the crime you committed
  5. The end

Retard Option

  1. You have committed a crime and the police have caught you
  2. The police tell you to “freeze” or “get down on the ground”
  3. You run for it/get extra aggressive in their face (armed or unarmed)
  4. The police give you another warning to “freeze” or “get down on the ground”
  5. You run for it/get even more aggressive in their face (armed or unarmed)
  6. The police do not like your resistance, seeing as you have commit a crime
  7. The police shoot, and now you’re probably dead

But don’t you worry. If you’re black, your family will play the race card in under 10 minutes, and the news will believe it. You’ll even have your own hashtag and people may even riot in your name (who doesn’t want a new TV every time someone dies, right?)

But you better not get excited if you’re any other race. That doesn’t make good TV, and the SJWs on Tumblr don’t care either. So you just got shot for no reason. No social justice campaign or anything. But your black friend across town? He’s already tweeting about hoping he doesn’t get killed by the police when he steals that car.

When is Racism not Racism?

So it begins…

We all get outraged. At a lot of stuff.

Some of us display this outrage as a mere annoyance; a sigh, an eye roll. Others, perhaps, a short outburst like hitting a table or a quick, loud swearing session.

Then there’s the idiots. The ones who are so outraged and offended by everything that they create petitions, campaigns, organise protests; they make sure that you know how offended/upset/outraged they are. About the smallest things imaginable.

Yesterday’s one was the new Manchester United replica football kit.

The most offensive thing since the non-existent pay gap; Man Utd’s 15-16 season replica football kits

Now. I’m not a football fan. At all. But I do know a thing or two about replica football kits. And I know they’re not designed to actually be worn to play football. You buy them to show your support and, presumable, so you don’t get beaten up by your fellow fans when  the riots kick off.

So what’s the problem with  the above kit?

Apparently, the one of the lest, design specifically for women, is too revealing for about five people who saw it for three minutes on the internet. So what could the reaction possible be? I see three choices;

  • Ignore it and by the “men’s” kit because you like the fit
  • Buy the women’s kit because you like the fit
  • Ignore them both because they’re overpriced, static-wielding nightmares, and you’re not a disgusting chav.

Of course, none of the above options were valid. The fourth, less obvious, but very much valid “on the internet”, is;

  • Be so offended that you create a blog, a twitter account, a hashtag, a petition, and a Buzzfeed article. I mean, how DARE Adidas acknowledge a woman’s femininity? I mean, it’s almost like they’re FORCING you to buy it, right? You have no choice in the matter. It is a legally enforceable requirement that you buy this apparently “revealing” replica kit. You don’t get a say. You have to buy it. And while you buy it, you’ll be taking pictures to post on Tumblr

The fact is, no-one is forcing anything to wear anything. All they did was make another kit. No-one is stopping you from wearing the men’s kit. In fact, lets just rename them: Normal Fit and Slim Fit. There’s plenty of men in this world who would wear a V-neck even deeper than that, that’s for sure.

But this kind of instant “offence” and “outrage” is why the world is screwed; no-one is stopping to think. Well, they are, but all they’re thinking is “how can I make my offended feelings go viral and get my blog post/petition in the news?”.

The minority is ruining it, as usual, for the majority. Most of us simply don’t care about replica football kits. Most of us definitely wouldn’t be offended by them (apart from Arsenal fans being offended by a Chelsea shirt, or whatever). So what makes you so special? Would you like us to all go around looking like asexual, unidentifiable, sack-wearing dullards? If that is your main goal, you can count me, and the majority of other people, out.

There’s the fight for equality, and then there’s the fight for idiocy. This is definitely part of the latter.

So it begins…
